What do I wear to a yoga class?

Please wear comfortable clothes that you are able to stretch in, and bring a warm jumper to put on at the end of the class for relaxation.

What do I need to bring to a yoga class?

I have mats, straps and blocks. If you would like to bring a blanket to keep you warm at the end of the class during relaxation, please feel free. You are more than welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

What if I am pregnant?

If you wish to attend one of my classes please discuss with me first, having checked with your medical adviser.

What if I haven’t done any yoga before?

Don’t worry! My classes are for mixed abilities, and my playful style makes yoga accessible for everyone… because it’s a lot of fun!

How long should I leave between eating and coming to class? 

I’d recommend you practise with as little food in your stomach as you can, perhaps 2-3 hours after a light snack and 3-4 hours after a larger meal.

Do I have to book?

My classes are drop-in, but I do ask that you send me an email first to let me know you are coming: emilydaviesyoga@gmail.com.
